Keynote Speaker: Condoleezza Rice

The 66th Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is headed to the state of Arkansas to give a keynote speech at the inaugural ‘America Leads: An Ideas Summit’ hosted by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. The summit will take place Oct. 19 in Bentonville and will bring together thought leaders and policy makers from across the nation to discuss real, actionable ideas and policies that are impacting America with the goal to encourage problem-solving and practical solutions.

Panel topics at the summit will include:

  • Morning Coffee & Ideas in Diplomacy: with perspectives on China, Russia and America’s global leadership
  • America Leads in Education: a look at the intersection of school choice, parental rights and the values of education
  • America Leads in Securing our Future: protecting our interests, securing our border and safeguarding the next generation
  • America Leads by Faith: the role of faith and freedom in policy and whether it unites or divides us
  • America Leads in the Heartland: the power of ideas and entrepreneurial leadership

If you're traveling from out of town, we encourage you to book your hotel stay at the Embassy Suites in Rogers.

Free transportation will be provided from the Embassy Suites hotel in Rogers to the Momentary and back. Guests will be transported on 54-passenger motor coach buses. Buses will depart the hotel at 7:15am for transport to the Momentary. Buses will leave the Momentary at 2:30pm to return to the hotel. The buses will remain at the Momentary throughout the duration of the summit for any guest who may need to return to the hotel before the end of the summit.

Any registered guest may ride on the bus. A reservation at Embassy Suites is not required. Guests must show a valid summit ticket to board the bus.

Complimentary coffee, water and tea will be provided at the Momentary. Lunch will not be provided, but we encourage you to visit the nearby restaurants in Downtown Bentonville. These restaurants are a short walk from the Momentary:

  • Table on Sixth
  • The Meteor Cafe
  • Blue Fresh Fish Marketplace
  • 8th Street Market (Yeyo's Mexican & COOP Ramen)

The Visit Bentonville office offers free concierge services to out-of-town guests to provide recommendations for best local restaurants, biking trails, salons, parks, museums, etc. Please call 479-271-9153 to visit the best Bentonville spots while in town for the summit.

There are two day-of check-in locations. Check-in at Embassy Suites will start at 6:15am for any attendee who will be riding on the motor coaches. Check-in at The Momentary will start at 7am. Only one check-in is required. For security reasons, please wear your provided name tag and lanyard at all times.
